Thanks Brian. Sticking it to our soldiers again.
“Redacted” is a tale of how our soldiers are raping & killing innocent civilians – based on one(!) terrible incident.
- What about the thousands of soldiers who are doing what is right, and laying their lives on the line for Iraqis every day?
To the Reader: Feel free to read the review of the movie about this aberration here:

Brian, I’ll bet you didn’t know, the soldiers & airmen returning to the AF Base where I work tell us constantly that they are ready to go back again.
- Many purposely re-enlist for order s back to the battle zone! Unlike you, they can see the bigger picture, & understand the price of turning our backs on Iraq.
With your logic as displayed in the article about your movie, the Iraqis would have to face the same fate that befell the Vietnamese after we pulled out of there. As is typical of the Hollywood elite, most including Mr. De Palma have never served in the military, but are happy to criticize it (with the rare exception of a hand full of courageous actors.) Most of Hollywood seems have short memories when it comes to the results of leaving a war before it is finished. It is not the American public that need to wake up, but Mr. De Palma, Michael Moore and the rest of their type.
When we left Vietnam, the VC massacred hundreds of thousands of their own, especially anyone who had anything to do with the army of democratic South Vietnam. Who can forget the bloody regime of Pol Pot, where millions were massacred? BTW, how come you don’t make movies about Al Qaeda slitting the throats of Americans, or the killing of American sympathizers in Iraq & Afghanistan?
Oh THAT’S right, it is the Hollywood liberals who still think we are the bad guys, while embracing the likes of Venezuela’s president Hugo Chavez, Cuba’s Castro & Syria's President Bashar al-Assad as role models for our children.
Please Mr. De Palma (& Michael Moore too!) – just go ahead & join your allies on the other side – either Iraq or Afghanistan, its up to you.
After all, if you think this is what our people are doing over there, you are no better than the enemy that you so readily give aid & comfort to….
